Hi All. I'm trying to netboot a VaxStation 4000/60 (NetBSD 1.5) and the
boot appears to hang after loading the kernel.

My display shows:

        -3
        Trying BOOTP
        bootp: no reply
        Trying BOOTPARAMS
        boot: client IP address: 192.168.0.66
        boot: client name: slate
        root addr=192.168.0.102 path=/mnt/grouchy
open netbsd.vax: No such file or directory
        > boot netbsd
open netbsd: No such file of directory
        > boot netbsd.gz
        1160552+56892+194872 +[84828+99876] = 0x185e60

After showing this it waits about 30 sec and makes 3 sharp beeps. After
that it appears to be hung up.

my /var/log/messages shows (for bootparamd)

        whoami got question for 192.168.0.66
        returning slate 192.168.0.101
getfile got question for "slate" and file "root"
        returning server:daphne path: /mnt/grouchy address:192.168.0.102
getfile got question for "slate" and "gateway"
        returning server:daphne path: /mnt/grouchy address:192.168.0.102

my /etc/bootparams contains:
        slate root=daphne:/mnt/grouchy

my /etc/ethers contains:
        08:00:2B:2A:DC:93 slate

and my servers (both freebsd 4.2) are:

daphne 192.168.0.102 running NFS and exporting /mnt/grouchy
duckman 192.168.0.101 running rarpd, mopd, bootparamd

Am I making some kind of silly mistake? What I have working so far I got
from RTFM, but my reading doesn't seem to carry me much beyond this point.
Any help would be appreciated.
