Hi,

I don't know if anyone else has run across this problem or not but here
goes. I have a Vax 4000/300 Server that has been previously running OpenVMS
6.2 with no problems. However, when attempting to install NetBSD 1.5 on
this system it hangs everytime! When attempting to install via a CD-ROM
attached to the SCSI controller on the VAX the system boots (b dka300) to
the point where you get the opportunity to interrupt the autoloader. Either
way whether you interrupt it or not the next thing you see is the screen
scrolling with the following message "stray interrupt: vector 0x18, ipl 31".
The only way to stop the loop is to halt the cpu. I have used this same
cd-rom to install OpenVMS on this same system as well my other Vax 4000/300
with no problems.

Does anyone out there have any ideas??? Suggestions??? Hints??? or ran
into this problem before???
