I am thinking of scaring up another VAX for use in the office
to replace my MV3100/20 s l o w w w w crate.  I wonder what
advantages or disadvantages there are in a MV3100/M76 vs a
VS4000 machine?  I am familiar with the M76 and use that as
the home VAX server.  But, are there advantages to staying in
the MV3100 M76 and up line vs the 4000 line, as to compatibility,
ease of porting, spare parts, etc?  Any insights are
appreciated.
