i love Guiness, however, there are some other really good beers out there.
Sierra Nevada makes an excellent IPA, for example, and Samuel Smith brand is
good on every level.

on a more local note, there is a microbrewery/restaurant about 4 hours from
here called the Bullfrog Brewery (Williamsport, PA) that makes some of the
best beer i've ever had.  they have a nitrogen injected stout that rivals
Guiness.

also, i live an hour (used to be 5 minutes before i moved) away from the
Neversink Brewery in Reading, PA.  excellent, excellent beer.

also, very expensive, but champagne good is, Framboise.
