Not 1.5, but I've built my slightly patched 1.4T (2000-02-19).  It took
some two to three weeks for a "make build", running totally diskless.
(CPU, RAM, two DEQNAs, and that's it.  The only Qbus disk interfaces I
have are ra (eg, RQDX3), and the few working disks I have that play
nice with them are tiny.  If/when I get a more usable disk interface
card, or usable amounts of compatible disk, I'll start running it
diskful.  But until that happy day....)
