after going through all the steps to recover my system password (woo hoo,
i'm in control of this beast now!!) i must say:

This goes BEYOND obfuscation. i can't _WAIT_ to get NetBSD on this thing. :)

not really a problem since i'm just boobing around for now, but eventually
i'd like to have a running VMS box (one of the /300 machines) so how would
i go about getting TCP/IP working on this thing? or should i just start with
a blank install from the begining (probably the best anyway) but then i need
the media. yea.

thank god for the VMS FAQ. previous owner? he was a couple of hands ago that
this thing has gone through. :)
