Well, I'll have to tell Kees that without pins 8 & 9 tied together the 8 
pin port is _not_ the console, even with the VS/MV jumper in the MV position.

With it in place I got the expected banner and the comments about things 
that didn't work.

After I got the chevron prompt I tried 'b dua0' and it is slowly (and very 
loudly) booting Ultrix 3.1 from the RD54!

Does anyone know how to boot this thing single user? Its stuck waiting for 
YP bind to respond.
