Hello All
I saw an older FAQ that said the only way to format a SCSI drive in a =
VAX is to do it somewhere else, like on a Sun or on a PC using a scsi =
controller. Is this true? I've got a 2G conner in my 3100 m38 that is =
experiencing a bad block medium read error that only a format/analyze =
(ala Sun format) can fix and update bad block lists. Do I have any =
option to fix this outside of ripping out the drive and taking it to =
another machine?
Any suggestions (rude or otherwise) are welcome.
