Hi,
  ERK - my local console isn't responding anymore! It was (I could log in,
on the getty etc), and now it just sits there saying "login: " and doesn't
echo anything back when I tap on the keyboard. It's a serial console, and
I know the cable is fine, and I get messages echo'ed to /dev/console. I'm
just at a loss as to why I can't log in locally :&/
