Not sure precisely how to enable profiling (I think it is off by default)
before a system is really up (I guess one could go single-user, turn it
on, then continue multiuser to measure what you ask).

Anyway, another data point in VAXen profiling.  This one done on a 4k/90A
running 1.5.1_ALPHA circa yesterday.  I did a 'make build' in /usr/src via
an ssh'ed network connection as the load activity:
