Hello everyone,

Happy new millennium! I've been playing with my 20th century VAXen and in 
the 3400 I've installed the CXA16, 16 port async mux. I boot the generic 
kernel and it says it found a DHU-11, fair enough that works for me.

However I have been unable to get a getty started on _any_ of its ports. I 
did a MAKEDEV on a bunch of different kinds of ttys and now have
	tty00 - tty07 (the DZ ones)
	ttyS0 - ttySf (should be the correct ones)
	ttyh0 - ttyhf (don't know where these came from)

I've enabled _all_ of those in /etc/ttys and rebooted and still no login 
prompt. I've been trying to cat files out hoping they will appear but 
trying to cat to ttySx hangs the process. Any clues out there?
