     Make a note of the various kernel names that it tries to boot. 
See if your kernel's name matches any of them. If not, rename your 
kernel (the one in /export/vaxclient/root) to netbsd.vax (which is, 
IIRC, the first name on the BOOTP or BOOTPARAMD list).
