I successfully bootet 1.5 on a VS2k with 4MB RAM. I recommend to set up
a netboot environment. See

If you get the beast up, simply disklabel the disk(s), newfs, mount,
untar the dist sets, disklabel -B (bootsprap), a bit of vi in etc and
that's it.
