Well, there is an actual 1.5 release now.  I'd pass over the 1.5BETA to
use it instead.  I can't answer you question though.  I've a feeling that
if you're using a generic kernel, that the in core size of the the kernel
may be pushing the limits of that 4MB.  My suggestion would be to just
grab the kernel from the 1.5 release and see if this solves your problem.

If it does, then grab the whole release.  If it doesn't, we should be able
to find someone who can compile up a smaller VS2000 specific kernel.  If
that still doesn't work, then it's probably time to call in the bug
police.
