Ok, this comes as a major shock to us :)

Because with the HOWTO we had a nice step by step instruction what to do and
what to put in certain files. Now were flying free not sure anymore what
programs we have to use and so on.

Is there someone who can help us get on track again? The best would be
someone who also has netbooted a microvax like this one.

Some of the questions we have are (some are maybe stupid, but just to be
certain):
do we still need:
ARP
RARP
Mopd
Mountd
nfsd
And are settings for these programs different from the previous attempts?

As far as we understand we have to stop using bootparamd and start using
bootpd. I have read the man pages for bootpd but some things are not really
clear. By the bootparamd we used this file "/etc/bootparams" which contained
this:
vaxclient root=linuxbakje:/export/vaxclient/root
swap=linuxbakje:/export/vaxclient/swap

Now we have to use "/etc/bootptab" which we made like this:
vaxclient:ht=1:ha=08002b02b587:root=/export/vaxclient/root:ip=192.168.1.13
vaxclient:ht=1:ha=08002b02b587:swap=/export/vaxclient/swap:ip=192.168.1.13

Is that ok? And is there more we have to do?

thanks,
bart
