Ok, is anyone aware of a source/repository for 'real world' VAX tech advice?

I recently got traded my working KA640 for a friends KA640 (and a couple
other tidbits :)

Brought it home, popped it in, whammo, various errors. 5B, 5E, 5F... At
this point, nothing worked. No Disk boot, no netboot, no nothing.
Tracking it down, it turned out the 5B was an SII error (SII being roughly
equiv to a SHAC, aka DSSI controller) 5E and 5F are NI errors (best Guess
is nonvolatile mem?)

Anyway, after much searching, I realized that there is almost no
information on hardware, especially troubleshooting, beyond 'this card goes
first'

The fix? Well, turns out that by the DSSI connector I noticed three
resistor packs. Close to that was a 'socketed' 1/2 amp fuse. (120VAC/24VDC)
Replaced fuse, booted.

Now, where can I put this info so the next poor slob with this problem
doesn't toss a perfectly good KA640?

Thanks
Paul
