I often have in the /var/log/messages a warning report of syslogd being
restarted.

Actually anyone knows why it resterts or which script does it ?
I looked at crontab but I did not see anything about ti resterting.
Is it perhaps the newsyslog script which restarts it after cycling the log
files ??
