yes, you should not notice any distinction between this and any other 
MSCP devices. the emulex firmware will report all the disks to have the 
identification string of 'RA81' but thats meaningless, it of course 
reports correct geometry (which you can modify in the emulex firmware)
and you can talk to the disks as you would any other MSCP disks. 

 you need to get into the firmware to do a low-level format of a disk and 
set it up with the emulex before it will work. i posted the commands to 
get into the firmware lastyear sometime, if you dont find them lemme know 
and ill repost them.
