I could fix hte problem usin the boot file from the CD distribution
snapshopt 20000517 and using the kernel 1.5_ALPHA

anyway now the ps program works partially.
it cannot red that proc filesystem complitely
the top program is not working as well.

I Will try to unpack the new distribution sets over the old ones and I
hope everything will work fine.

Anyway in general what I have to do to install a new boto block ??
actually I am usin a old boot program and not the one of 1.5_ALPHA
distributoin.

BTW I Could no find any boot program in the snapshot for 1.5_ALPHA

thanks

Rick
