Hi all,
yesterday I've tried netbooting netbsd-vax 1.4.2 on my mvax 3100/10,
16Mb ram, two hd 250 Mb each.
Used a mVaxII as bootparamd server, strictly following the directions
given in "The VAX Network Booting HOWTO".
Used boop.mop from /usr/mdec and netbsd_ram.gz from distribution of
1.4.2, renaming it to netbsd.gz
My mvax3100 loads the mop loader, then, after attempting a load to
netbsd (absent), loads netbsd.gz via bootparamd.
After loading it, the machine hangs with no message.
If I press the reset button (on the back of the machine) I see only
garbled characters on the console, it doesn't return to the console
prompt (>>>).
What happened ?
Any hints ?
Thanks in advance.
