I'm searching a people, who use TK50 with tar
My problem: with dd: i can write data to the tape.
With tar: the system is writing a lot of error messages.

the dd command: dd if=<real file> of=/dev/rmt0
the tar command: tar --preserve -zcvf /dev/mt0 /usr/include/sys/

the dd command ended succesfull, the tar command report error.
(data error, bad ioct 9, bad ioct 8,....)

working: mt -f /dev/mt0 rewind
NOT working: mt -f /dev/mt0 erase
(NOT working if use rmt0 too)

Under VMS, the command is working: INIT MUA0: /ERASE

Please, help me!
