Kernel sequencing is wrong. 1.4.2 is an older kernel than the 1.4L NEWUBA 
kernel.

1.4.2 doesn't have a _lot_ of stuff that is in 1.4L,M,N etc. Wait for 1.5 
(official release of 1.4<letter>
