you mount the cd using

mount -t cd9660 /dev/cd0c /mnt

[...]

Damn!  for some reason, the MAKEDEV never make cd entries.  grrr.

I've remade with entries for cd0 and cd1.  I've also updated netbsd.sysinst
as well.  You'll need to burn a new cd.  Sorry.
