Apologies first off for sending my first port to the wrong address so that
your CC:'s didn't work. I send to the wrong address, then used a bounce
feature in my mailer that resends to a differnet address but doesn't
change any other headers.

Thank you to everyone who replied to my inquiries. I now know enough to
attempt to net boot the machine, rather than use the floppy. I also now
know enough to say that my monitor is composite sync and not sync on
green. The monitor I have is a rather cheap 21" KDS VS-21 monitor with
a SVGA connector and 5 BNC connectors. It can handle fairly high
frequencies (something like 30-117V and 50-160H) but the lack of SOG
makes it unuseable I guess.

All I have to do now is figure out how to get a current snapshot home to
one of my servers and build myself a MMJ to DB9 serial cable. If I'm not
mistaken, a reproduction of DEC part # H8571-J should let me interface
with a PC's serial port.

Thanks for the help. Hopefully before too long, I'll be posting a success
story.

Kevin
