This is probably an RTFM, but I can't find the answer.  I have now got
my 3100 booting from hard disk, but on boot it asks for the root device,
dump device and filesystem type, offering defaults which work for the
latter two.

Which file do I edit to allow it to boot unattended?  As far as I can
see /etc/fstab is OK.
