I found it!

The datasheet with jumpers and switches for that drive can 
be found at http://www.reset-inc.com/images/8000e.pdf.
I've also got a copy now I can ftp you if you can't
reach that site from your location.

Drive specs are at ftp://ftp.maxtor.com/pub/esdi/xt-8760e.txt,
but they don't help much with the jumpers.
