Probably not a good idea to poke inside the drive.. they are
hard to come by. And mine did just the same thing with v1.4.1
and I think the problem is the NetBSD bootstraps. y floppy
drive seems clean, not filled with dust or anything, I doubt
if it's ever been used.

However, trying it out under VMS is a good idea. I think I'l
do just that.
