Hello folks!

I've tried to make a new installkernel, made from the
1.4U sources. The kernel compiles ok, but there seems
to be a problem with the new kernel, that cannot be
overcome without a new booter that supports bigger
kernels. Even with almost all stuff stripped out, save
the md disk and the hardware needed for the smaller
VAX'en, the kernel exceeds 2Meg. Apparently the current
booter only supports smaller kernels, because it crashes
with a message i recognize from earlier attempts.

With the kernel that i used when building the cdboot.fs
it was enough to use strip on the kernel to make it shrink
under the "magical" limit, but this isn't enough anymore.

-Any ideas?

This is the message when the booter crashes.
