ouch.

Unfortunately the build on my VLC 4000 took so long that there will not
be time to pull any vax fixes into 1.4.2, so I hope it is just the RZ56
and not something more general.

I applied (successfully, I think!) everything that I found in the 1.4.1 vax
vaxdiffs.gz file. I don't know anything about the history of "the RZ56 bug"
so I can't honestly tell if any of those would affect it.
