OK: So I built the latest kernel with the 4000/60 SCSI changes included.
Here's what I get:

So that is looking good. However, I haven't gotten farther than that yet
because I'm still getting this wierd condition where my console is
non-responsive to KB for a bit after reboot. BREAK gives me the
chevrons, so I know it's not the terminal. I've noticed something odd,
though (yes, more odd that that) - I can tell when it will work, because
there will be a console message generated talking about le0 device
timeout - after that message is printed, the console works fine. Before,
it doesn't. Any ideas?

Also, what are the rules regarding boot partitions and 1G barrier - do
they still apply? I don't recall the specifics about that.
