For more discussion....

What exactly is not successful on a make build, lately?

For example, in building kernels on my 3100 class machines, I have
lately run into some situations where GENERIC won't compile due to
problems of other architectures in the VAX family coming up with
errors. Manually stripping out anything not-3100 class, and things
compiled fine.

I have heard of some problems in the pmax and sparc trees....

Are there problems, or nuances, or gotchas I should be aware of or
looking for in the VAX tree?

Got the docs....

What is this doing? Where is it set?

OK, how many days on a VS3100/M38 with 5400rpm relatively fast HP drives?

Let's see... Wednesday the libs, Thursday the compiler, Friday the userl...

OK, got it.....(:+}}... I need some good nights sleeping....

Ain't VAXentoyz fun.....?

Yup.....

Bob

Aside.... I am putting out some feelers to see if there may be any
11/725 or 11/730 crates gathering dust around here. Who should I
see about porting to those, should I get lucky enough to find one?
