The VAXstation 2000 doesn't have such a switch. If the box does something on
the serial console, you can't make more than that. Usually you have 2 ways to
get this running:

Connect pin 8 and 9 of the console port (the 9pin-D-SUB-connector)
Locate the jumper near the BNC connector and reverse it. This was found by me
to be a bit insecure, the pin8&9 version never made problems.

BTW: The little switch on a VAX 4000-105A at the rear enable HALT via terminal
BREAK. Since yesterday, i don't have to creep begind the hardware every time
i hang the machine in my tests :-)
