hmm. what about those of us who own a source license and thus don't 
have problems with the AT&T encumberment? 

yes, the basic reason DEC/theQ cant give away ultrix like they did VMS is
because they dont own 100% of ultrix. the at&t licensing they have 
prevents them from doing this.
