It occurs to me that a better "metric" for this group might be "KCU"s or 
"Kernel Compile Units" This could be defined as "The time it takes to do 
'make depend; make' in the GENERIC directory." If we assume that the 
MicroVAX II is 1.0 KCU then we can rate machines in terms of their 
suitability for development :-)
