The LPS40 was a diskless microvax-II. Base config was KA630, 6mb ram,
DEQNA or later DELQA plus the four board interface/bitmaps/accelerator
in a rack version of the BA23. The later ones likely had 8mb ram. Add
a disk (RQDX3) and it was a MV-II.
The LPS20, 20+ and LPS32 used microvax based boards but were distinct to
those printers. They could mop load VMS!
The nominal code running in all of them was ELN based Postscript and they
talked DECNet and TCP/IP to the printing hosts. Wouldn't mind having a
LPS20 as a system printer here. ;)
