The Intersil IM6100 is very ancient history at this point.  There was a nice
write-up of it in Byte in the 70s, might be worth looking up if you're
interested.  B.G. Micro had old IM6100s a few years ago but not for long.
Harris did an improved "6120" CPU which was used in the DECmate II and III,
also out of production though.

An 8/E emulation could be done on a PIC chip if you really want to have
hardware, or use a Scenix and the speed might even be pretty good...
