Bingo! Somone else is hitting the head to the wall!!

Sorry, I had to, I have to of them here and they are waiting for
connection to my MV3100.

There is something broken in the SCSI code, the start unit command is
not getting to the drive, if it is sent at all.

I can connect the disks to FreeBSD machine that I have and send the
disks "start unit" command and they spin up and are addressable and ...

But NetBSD vax does not work for them.

My disks are Maxtor disks with DIGITAL firmware and Digital seems to
have got ridden of spin up jumper function. (sorry)

I have document for the disks here somewhere and have already tried.
