I'd say it was one of the few real mainframe vaxen, the rest were supoer
minicomputers.

It's not bad but in the lexicon of MV3100s it's about as slow as they
come with most of them being newer and much faster.  

Slow is a 730 or MicroVAX-I (.2vups!).
