Ah, right.   You know, I looked at the disklabel info twice and came to
the conclusion that since partition `c' was also marked `unused' NetBSD
wasn't still insisting on the partition type being marked 4.2BSD before
allowing access to it.   Colour me spoiled by FreeBSD :)
