This kernel seems to work quite well on my VS3100/M38.  I have two
SCSI controllers.  With an external IBM 1GB, I get the following:
# dd if=/dev/rsd3c of=/dev/null bs=1m count=64
64+0 records in
64+0 records out
67108864 bytes transferred in 68 secs (986895 bytes/sec)
# dd of=/dev/rsd3c if=/dev/zero bs=1m count=64
64+0 records in
64+0 records out
67108864 bytes transferred in 100 secs (671088 bytes/sec)
