I've got a Vaxstation 3500, with KDA50 controller. Several weeks
ago, Dave and I found several RA73 drives in these heavy cabinets,
4 drives each. So far, I've taken one drive out of the cabinet,
and successfully got it running NetBSD 1.4.1 mounted internally in
the Vax. I'd like to try to get the other mounted internally,
but in the longer run, I'd like to try to hook up the entire box,
with the 4 RA73's.

First question: the vax had one ribbon cable still in the box
when I got it, no cable available for a second drive. Is there
anywhere you can still obtain these cables, and what would I
be asking for?

Second: Are there any docs available which describe how to
hook up these cabinets? The cabinet has two external cables
that plug into one end, and each cable splits into 4 cables, which
fit nicely into this little box at the front of the Vax. There is
also a control panel that plugs on to the other end of the box.
I've read a few posts in the archives that deal with setting the
unit numbers using the control panel, but I'm not sure how the
cabling works.

Any help is much appreciated.
