<Now *that* is just plain sneaky.  I *love* it!  I kept thinking "modem" 
<or "printer" for that port, but I don't need it, do I?   

I used to work for the terminals and printers group at DEC.  my 
mainterminals are VT100, Vt320 and VT240... the trick of using the two ports 
on the VT3xx series is one I've used as it was a handy way to manage two 
systems from one tube!  That and a having just a few vaxen.
