It's not a mailing list, but you could always try the comp.sys.dec
newsgroup for VAX hardware availability.  If's you're just looking to
outright purchase DEC hardware, I'd recommend checking out Ficomp
(http://www.ficompinc.com/) which is local to Southern California. They're
down in Santa Ana.  Their prices aren't as good as you'll find scrounging
about the newsgroups or even on Ebay, but they are cheaper than most all
of the other used DEC resellers I've seen advertising.  Ficomp has a
decent sized warehouse full of old DEC gear.  Most of it's not listed on
their web pages though, so you'd have to e-mail or call their sales for
what you're looking for in particular.  I've been happy in all my dealings
with them.
