Hi Michael,
There are 2 types of DSSI connectors on VAX.
One is the DSSI 50 pin HONDA male connector (PS)
( 50pin HD-DSUB) and the other is the connector you
have described ( mini-centronics male).
The Digital terminology for this connector is MICRO RIBBON or MR.
The typical adaptors for this connector is KFESA/KFESB, VAX600,
VAX7000.
A good source for Digital Cable descriptions is the Cables Reference
Guide at the below link. This webb page used to have pictures of
all the cables but unfortunately the links to pictures are out of
date.
