Go and by a new disk. Realy. If a SCSI disk reports bad sectors the
drive is close to death.
But you can give it a last chance. Try to repair it with sformat. The
latest release (3.4) is aviable at
ftp://ftp.fokus.gmd.de/pub/unix/sformat/
It compiles and runs with a little bit of tweaking under NetBSD. Feel
free to contact me if you want more info. But i highly recommend
purchasing a new (used) disk.=20
