Its funny that we always end up with the same problems.

These are in fact VMS backup save sets.

I tried to unpack these files with the free vmsbackup Utility
(available in several different revisions, i think the latest
was available as part of a project that attempts to rewrite
VMS for the public domain....) but the program failed,
due to a newer version of backup used to pack the files.

I unpacked the files successfully on the last running VMS machine in
my reach. Beware of the blocksize of 9216 used in the set!!
