Yes.  It already know how to read RX50s.  I went through that exercise 
with 1.2c booter.  Used PUTR to put it on disks and then to the RX33 in m 
MVII.

<MicroVAX and it's RX33 what you're doing with the PC and it's equivalently
<1.2Meg spec'ed floppy drive.

The RX50 is 1 side of a 80 track(96tpi) but at 300 rpm not 360 like 1.2mb.
So a properly jumpered RX33 (teac fd55GFV) will do all formats that are 
reasonable for a 96tpi drive read/write and will read all 48tpi media.
The actual data format on the disk is controller dependent.
