Hmmm, the RX50 interfaces for VAXen are not capable of formatting. The
only box sold by DEC who could hardware format RX50 was the Rainbow.
So, even if someone wrote something equivalent to John Wilson's PUTR, it
wouldn't help.
The hardware just isn't in there.
