I'm trying to use my second tape drive on the MicroVAX I'm setting up. The
TK50 is already present on the first tape controller addy using its native
controller.
The second drive is a SCSI variety that's installed on the tape side of my
Sigma RQD11S host adapter (yes, it is more than capable of supporting both
disk and tape).
Here's the kicker. Every time I try this:
mt -f /dev/rmt1 status
I get back 'Device not configured' or some such silliness.
What gives? When I created the device tables, I used ./MAKEDEV all as was
suggested to me.
So, how do I define this additional drive? It emulates TMSCP, so it should
have been covered already.
Thanks in advance.
