Greetings All,
I'm in the process of resurrecting a VAX with a single RA81 disk
drive. It powers up fine, but when pressing the RUN switch, the
disk starts spinning up and then stops. Pressing FAULT causes
the B lamp to flash rapidly.
I've connected a terminal to the diagnostic port. It prints
"Front panel operation in progress" when the fault occurs and
returns to the command prompt.
Naturally I don't have documentation for the drive. Can anyone
tell me what the flashing "B" indicates?
Thanks,
Jason Brady jrbrady@mindspring.com Lynnwood, WA
